People who haven't listened to the Complete Symphonic Recording might not get about half of these, but if they know the show at all, they might. At any rate, these are things that I can't resist thinking when I'm listening to the whole show. Sorry if I offend someone. ...no I'm not.
Edit: Hey, look, it's colored!
I would like to make several notes.
Note one is the typical bitching artist comment, in which I complain that it took me forever to find a good color scheme for Eponine. Annnd... now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure I left her color dot thingies on her speech bubble in the bottom panel. Shit, dude. Unfortunately, that was the last one I did so I was all "arrrgh tired" and I'm also on dialup, so you'll just have to live with it for now (read: I am not sitting here staring blankly for ten more minutes while I reupload it).
Note two is that, for everyone who asked me on DA or not whether it's weird that they think Jean Valjean is hot, I would have to say that unless society has geared itself towards large men with beards, that is sick and wrong and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Note three is OH MY GOD the horrible coloring, although I rather like how Javert and the stars turned out, as well as bloody Marius. Eponine in the last panel makes me want to kill myself, but that's probably becuase she was the last one.
Note four is that the two revolutionaries commenting on Gavroche's death are Grantaire and Jehan Prouvaire, who apparently joined this whole thing before he realized guns would be involved.
Note five is... is that not the best goddamn barricade you've ever seen? And the sky behind Marius? I slaved for hours on them, as you can see, and I want to make sure they get the recognition they deserve.
Note six is that Cosette is the most nightmareishly freaky thing I have ever seen in my life and I regret coloring her right before I go to bed.
And now I'm going to bed. Without thinking about Cosette.
Enjoy.
And I think I love you for the "Eponine's song" bit. I was just thinking about that the other day, when I finally relized why Link's horse's name sounded so familar...
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
